Wood Patio Covers

Wood Patio CoversI am building a deck covered by the cover SUNTUF (polycarbonate plastic). This type should I use?

My wood should be covered and I am the First and the white paint for added protection. I want something that will last and not crack or warp (minimal). Hemlock, fur, pine, cedar or any treaty??? Since I paint the wood it all look alike. I do not want to spend a fortune if it is not necessary. Please help:) I think that spending extra to get things right the first time.

Cedar, but it's a bit expensive. Otherwise, a good pressure treated will do. I do not know how the pressure concentrated accepts paint. I think it is great but.
Cedar right to do ..............

Pressure-treated fir should be good with a wood exterior stain

I would use personally CEDER because the wood itself is hardwood. Then I would not paint it because if you did the painting after some time you would have to repaint it because the paint does not come off, I just repainted their parents bridge was a pain! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!. My second actually put a sealer on the wood him as Thompson water sealer so it would repel water and wetter the wood will not warp and crack.
