You can buy anything because you never specified what you might purchase in the application of the license.
But you have to pay taxes on items when you file your taxes.

In fact, it depends a bit. I tried to buy some articles about outside of my business and was decreased capacity ... if you can try, but when you complete the form you have to describe what you do. Some wholesalers have minimum also quite salty if you are buying for personal consumption, you can not qualify. Other times they want something familiar in the market (even) to open an account to purchase. So, it is sometimes simply not worth the hassle. Depends on what it is and how the account is managed.
