I echo the stationery for a wedding. What exactly are the escort cards and place cards-date?

Save the Date "cards are a way to allow your friends and family know about your upcoming wedding so they can keep open date and does not make other plans. You send some time before the wedding. Then, you send invitations to the wedding more real. They are not necessary, I do not use. But they are useful if you want to make sure that everyone will not be held the day of your marriage.

Escort cards are cards to assign tables for each guest. You write their table number on them. Again, not always necessary. If you have a great wedding and allocate seats, they would serve. But if you're just a casual party, they would be an unnecessary expense.

Escort cards is just another name for place cards reception that informs customers that table, they have been assigned for the reception.

Map of Save-the-date serves as a means to inform your guests of your wedding date and location in advance (before sending out invitations) so customers can reserve that date and be prepared to attend. They are frequently used for weddings, when many customers are out of town guests, or marriages that occur during peak seasons and holidays.
