V Lounge Santa Monica

I want to go out on Friday night. I like hip hop and top 40 music. Hollywood clubs are cool, but there is just a pain. V Lounge Santa Monica is the kind of place we seek. It's just me and my roommate. Can anyone suggest some good places / bars to hang out in West Los Angeles?

Have you tried to Zanzibar in Santa Monica on 5th Street? This music is different every night do not know what they play on Friday. As for shows, Rush Street in Culver City is cool, but they do not play music, World Cafe has a cool room (in Santa Monica on Main) I have not been there, but I heard Glow is pretty cool. www.glow-bar.com/ http://
