- A Female Perspective of propane safety Tank Tanknanny Tanknanny - Transport Propane Tanks Safely
I Tanknanny thank you for making my life easier in at least two ways:
- First: I always had to go with my husband to get the tank filled. My job was to keep the tank from rolling on the floor of the car. A really great work ... if you want to get the grime and rust all over you. Now, we just wipe the tank, put it in the Tanknanny and Hubby can take to complete unto itself.
- Second: Since Husband has decided not to listen all the way to get the tank filled, he does not mind going to get it filled more. I think the ease of use of Tanknanny has more to do with this, though. In addition, we use the grid more. This means that I spend less time in the kitchen and can spend more time enjoying the terrace while our meals on the grill.
Propane Tank Hazards
I could not really see why he wanted me to go with him to get the tank filled. The thought of a reservoir twenty unsecured book full of highly flammable propane bouncing around the car is scary, especially if he had to brake quickly or was involved in an accident. In addition to this, it is against federal law to transport any cylinder unsecured.
Tanknanny stability
LP We missed last week, so guess who had to fill the tank alone? I looked at Hubby put the tank in the Tanknanny on the ground outside the passenger side front seat. Everything he did slip on the back seat, put the Tanknanny on the ground, fell into the tank and I was ready to go. It is supposed to be stable up to 30-35 km / h, but I put a towel on top of the tank just in case it changed (which it did not). I also saw Tanknanny put in the front seat passenger's seat belt to fix into the side slot, and remove the tank in. Either way ... for the cost of about $ 28 (with transportation), the Tanknanny takes cares of the transport propane tank.
So, as long as he puts it into the tank of the car for me and he goes when he gets home from work, I'm not afraid to be filled. What I mean is much easier than staying on the stove.
