Zoning Housing Association /
While swings can be erected in many places, there are certain areas where construction is prohibited swings. These rules are generally dictated by the zoning and rules of the Association of Housing and regulations. Before buying your new swing set, do a little research to see if your selected area makes a swing to be erected.
Slide Safety
The slides and swings require their own zoning laws, which attempt to regulate the surrounding area are safe. Example: for a 4-foot slide, it must be 6 feet surface adapted to the end and all around him. For slides, the area of use is the height of the platform more than 4 feet. Thus, a platform 8 feet high, it should be 12 feet padding to break the fall of a child at the end of the slide, and 6 feet all around him.
And Swings
Swings are a bit different. A good area twice the height of the swing will keep a child safe, he or she decides to skip it. Thus, if the swing is 7 feet high, the area of use would be 14 feet forward and backward. It must be covered with 12 inches of loose, like gravel or sand, as they fall break for a child with less impact.
When it comes to housing and neighborhood associations, you have to check on a specific basis. Some associations have rules governing the swings and slides, while others have not. However, it is best to check first than to be suffering from a stiff fine, later, or worse, having to dismantle your new set of swings.
