Hoop Tents: This is a cross located between a ridge and dome tent. They are strong with room inside, they can be multi-Hoop, also known as a tunnel tent, or a single hoop that is lighter and easier to carry. Hoop tents are often favored by climbers because of their strngth winds and harsh conditions.

Geodesic tents, one tent is like a geodesic dome tent, but with a slightly different structure which gives them greater strength winds. Often a little more expensive than a standard dome tent.

Vis-a -vis: tents with bedrooms on each side of the main central area. They are genrally noeadays style dome, but you sometimes see a crest style vis-a -vis the tent.

Touring tents: tents of passage may be extended tents dome tents peak or extended. They normally have a porch area, which is very useful for cooking, (although in tents goking should only be done if it is safe to do so, and you should consult manufacturr if you're not sure).
