Solar Panel Pole Mount

Solar Panel Pole MountWhat is the best for static solar photovoltaic cells. A monitoring system or simply a mirror opposite?

The concept of having my photovoltaic cells in an optimal position to make the most of their daily exposure is a good selling point. But the additional costs of the monitoring system is not as attractive as what my father suggested.
My father has mirrors mounted on poles to catch and redirect the morning sun on its photovoltaic panels mounted on its roof. They are angled to catch the most sun in the afternoon.
Incidentally, my father has no electricity bill has since expanded its solar cell panels, reductions in local public services with a check of his credit at the end of each month.
I would do the same instead of having to pay the local utility. He has never suffered brown-outs during peak hours too.

If you care about security, most panels will void the warranty if you concentrate sunlight (using mirrors) on them. I'm not saying it will not work, and it will probbly not horrible as long as you do not concentrate more than 2x. But watch the temperature of the panel, too - which can void the warranty.

A tracking system will not have this problem, but adds complexity, and would be difficult to place on a sloping surface like a roof.

It seems that your father had set up its mirrors only to fishing in the morning and evening sun, which is good, because the sun is lower, then, anyway.

For the first year of operation, our network has been providing more spec. I realized that this could be due to the white canvas roof of a nearby kiosk, which reflects some light on the table.

sounds like you dad was a good research work, either because he spent his money. I think you have Papa! Bravo
