Smoker

SmokerSmoker ....?

Hey I'm a smoker, and I am 5 and a half weeks pregnant, I really want to quit but I can not kepp tellin me I have a baby in me now, but the mental note not working, has Is anyone else have this problem or now what I can do is there anything out there that will make me stop, there is something a doctor can give me, I want to quit so bad, but I can not pass through the habit.thanks

I too was a smoker when I got pregnant and it was difficult to stop smoking. But what made me leave the guilt was terrible I felt after smoking a cigarette. I could not bear it and worrying that my baby may end up w / problems b / c of me. If you can not leave your your own doctor can prescribe medication to help you. I know it sounds crazy but some of my friend had the same problem, then its r.. b prescribed anti-depressants / c they help get rid of the urge to smoke. Do not let that scare you away too b / c he can probably give you some kind w / o many side effects and w / a low dose. Just talk to your doctor, b / c I'm sure they have seen many women w / the same problem before. Good luck!

Talk to your OB. I'm sure they had many pregnant women go through the same thing. Smoking is hard to stop. Maybe the doctor can help you find a way to stop.

its all up to you, keep tellin u want ur Urself child to be healthy, because if you continue to smoke do u problems

What's wrong with my answer as * holes!
its true

When I was pregnant with my daughter, the doctor wanted to put me on Zyban to stop smoking. No, I did not leave while I was pregnant, but still, my daughter was healthy and not premature. Reducing is better than nothing right?

Stop smoking. Do what you must stop. Remember, babies of smokers have many health problems at birth - the very low birth weight, breathing difficulties and heart problems. When you smoke, your baby is smoking. Think of your unborn child and not you.

Ask your OB for help. EVN your GP. They can suggest things that may help you.

I was one of the lucky ones ... smoking made me sick. that's how I discovered I was pregnant. lol! I have not smoked since 2002.

I finished a pack and do not buy more. Just do not buy them. Claiming that there is no smoking anywhere and you can not get ... after a week or so will stop the disruption and after 3-5 months, as the habit is gone ... I always think about it, but I have now under control. Just do not buy ... I do not think the pill or patch or something that would help ... dum dums buy! I was a monster at first dum dum ... I am 34 weeks pregnant now and have been smoke free 13 September 2006 and once you get there, it's a great feeling! You can do it!

You are definitely bringin some serious answers. As a former smoker, I know it's hard, but you must stop smoking. Stats show the more you smoke, the more likely you have a premature, deformed and / or mentally unstable child. I do not think you want to give birth to a sick baby, and you? Please stop smoking.

If that's all you smoke, you should be able to stop completely! Maybe if you see pictures of what happens to the baby when you smoke, you could quit!

You can stop! It's a habit more important than your baby? I have a niece who has all sorts of health problems because
his mother was smoking the whole time she was pregnant with her. It will never be a healthy person. Her mother died about 12
years at a young age. Consider the health of your child
if they are not yours.

Well, you shoot a lot, so it's a plus! Congratulations on the pregnancy and cutting back. Change your schedule around a bit to avoid those few smokes, or use a pencil and pretend to inhale. That's what my grandfather did and he a.
