Are there any reasons why the U.S. should not change to a simple majority system?

The Electoral College requires that each state receives at least one vote. No more, I vote, the country would not question that the population is not evenly distributed.

Yes. It would be a long and costly process that we can not afford.

No, it's a system that lets voters short. Get rid of it.
