Garden Tool Rental

Garden Tool RentalPatio replacement / repair?

A 6-square-foot section of my concrete patio in my backyard and a drop off about an inch in my backyard. I want to cut into blocks and used for a garden wall. BUT ... the street because I rented cuts only 3.5 inches ... and I need 4.

Tool Rental Guy says it's as deep as the saw cut. Is it true ...?

I want to put pavers instead of concrete ... Is it possible to fix on the concrete with a patch ...? How do I do that?

Douglas

I have a 12 "concrete saw will cut it 6" in depth to Tool Guy rental is lying to you or simply do not know better.

I know you can rent, I have, but they are a bit expensive.

Depth of cut determined by the size of the blade. 31 / 2 "rings true ork. Just cut as deep as the saw and the rest will bust. To get the patch, Thay look like crap. Paver Stick with your idea.

I think I saw a ten-inch blade (suitable for concrete / tile cutting) the other day when buying at Lowe's. This would give a range of APRX 5 inches. But I do not know if laptops will accomdate saws this size.
A benefit for the use of pavers is that they move with the change and will not crack like concrete can / does.

Would be more expensive, but you can rent a saw to cut the gas engine that will go into the concrete. They are similar to those used by contractors for cutting concrete reinforcing bars and concrete grooves. Most look a bit like a chain saw equipped with a circular blade which is usually about 10 inches in diameter, giving you a little over four inches to be cut.
And I know your desire to use cut blocks for a wall may be the economy and the environment engine, but the cost of pre blocks is very low at this time due to late season and all Menards or Home Depot would have decorative block the sale for best appearance.
