General Construction technology for retaining walls? I need a describstion general techniques of basic construction of a retaining wall. I, m more aware of factors that require the design rather than a buiding. The type of gabion wall doesn't matter say, Cradle or reinforced concrete.

You have asked this same question several times and each time the good people on this site, you said they needed more information on what you are trying to give you an answer. But you always walk request. Everybody is trying to say is that there are many ways to build a retaining wall. They range from simple stacking railroad ties or landscaping and backfilling dirt and complex systems that include batteries and tension rods placed in ABCK slope. So come on, give everyone the details or stop asking.
So you want to know about the considerations in the construction of retaining walls, rather than their development.
Some problems of construction:
- Surface properly prepared on
- Maintaining stable slope while the construction of the wall
- Ensure the design is implemented (ie, proper compaction, good drainage, correct levels and the inclination, building correct)
As you can see, building a block wall of gravity is completely different from a sheet pile wall, so I can only give general comments above.
Remember that the main reason that the maintenance of the collapse of walls, because:
- They were not designed by a qualified engineer
- The design guidelines were not followed
- Corners have been cut
- Extrapolation of a model to a situation different from those not aware of design problems, thereby
As you are new to this site may take you some advice.
Do not submit your question 4 times. Composition of matter carefully as give much info on the subject you can then use the "Check Spelling", then "Overview" and when you reread your response and made the changes so it makes sense, and only then press on "Submit" once.
From time to time someone gives an answer that you can add some additional information to help people to give precise answers. You can do this using the Add comment. This way, you do not repeat the question with more details.
