Folding Picnic Table

We live in a community where most children know each other, and they play together on weekends. We noted last summer that one of the children who came round regularly reported that their parents did not get a picnic table, adjustable, similar to ours, so we thought we'd make one for them as a gift . They could use when the weather warms.

Picnic tables are adjustable a very good idea. The alternative is to have one in a fixed position somewhere on your site. You can buy picnic tables folding for about fifty pounds, but honestly, they do not seem very solidly built. This is one reason why I did it myself.

My wife was happy with him, so she gave me the chance to show the neighbors my carpentry skills. I accepted the project. I'm fine with the simplest projects woodworking, providing I have a good set of plans to follow.

The plan was to put together a picnic table and adjustable folding, because if I were to build a fix, I work in the neighbor's garden, then it would not be a surprise to them.

Basically, the picnic table comprising a flat top surface with folding legs. For me, the easiest way of making the adjustable legs were open at three levels of height, what I call loose low, medium and high. I worked on the best height for the highest setting and cut each other heights accordingly.

When I finished my work I am happy with what I had done. He folded almost flat and has not been too heavy to bear. I even put a carrying handle on the side. I'm sure our neighbors are happy with the surprise gift and they would be able to enjoy using it with their children during the hot months ahead.
