Flush Mount Exterior Lighting

The box states that this is a ceiling in the open air, but I want to put it on the outside wall instead of the ceiling there is 17 "x 17" x 6 "deep, deep within a square that is mounted flush. Looking, I do not see why I would not be able to mount it as applying a light, do not know if there's a reason why I should not. Thanks for any help !

If it mounts flush with the ceiling should work properly on the wall .. Good luck ..

The only problem I think is the direction of the light it gives on your deck may not be a nice / good.

I did the same thing with a ceiling lamp inside with a small cabinet on the wall. This works very well ... but it is slightly more difficult to remove the glass cover to change the bulb.

It should work.
