Why is my gas leaf blower powered shock me? I bought a brand ECHO leaf gas powered fan and it shocks me every few seconds when I try to suck the leaves. Is it static electricity generated by the fan or maybe the wiring plug is faulty? Has anyone out there has had a problem like this, and how did you resolve it?
Try wearing gloves when you use it and also wear decent shoes.
The only things it may be the candle or static.
Yes, it is static electricity created by the debris being drawn through the tube pickup. Mine is not the same brand, but it shock me if I touch parts that are connected to the tube. You can even see small pieces of leaves to stick to the outside of the mine which confirms the static is pretty bad.
I just take care not to touch the leather gloves that impact or wear.
Hope that helps ....
make your girlfriend or wife do it, you do not feel anything!
Yes, it offends you so be careful
Suspect the ignition coil has failed. Usually due to a crack in the insulation. This will cause you to get nailed. Gloves will not usually help. When the gloves wet with perspiration it offers again.
You can have a short-ignition, spark plug wire as it is something touching.
My boyfriend says that maybe the wire spark plug or faulty ground wire on the power switch is loose
