Coleman Roadtrip Grill

We recently bought a roadtrip grill because it can be folded for easy storage and transport. However, when we put in place, the handle seems to be on the wrong side of the latch of the lid does not open due to gravity. Does anyone else have this problem? Have you contacted Coleman? Did they do something?
