How do I season a cast iron plate on a gas griddle? I read about putting cast iron pots, pans etc in the oven of the season, but how do I season the cast iron griddle plates on gas?
My Suite101 article on foundation to make omelettes has a section on omelette pans seasoning (who also works for a crepe pan or any other function).

I would like to contact the manufacturer for specific instructions. Generally, oil is rubbed in and then it is heated.
