Cando Gym What is a good way to exercise with two herniated discs? I used to walk 3.5 miles a day and go to the gym every day. I moved from the city temporarily to help my parents and live in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. Walking on uneven ground is bad for my back (confirmed by a chiropractor back in the city). I tried for three months, but cogens could not take it. gym nearest is 45 minutes so that is simply not ideal for commuting. I just returned from vacation and walked all day and swam and it really helps. (I really realized how much I miss my exersise a day). A good treadmill is really too expensive. Aerobics is too Rouh on my back too.
