INTRODUCTION

This author seeks to explore the possibility to use excerpts of Surat chosen two versions of the English translation of the meaning of the Qur'an by Muhammad Asad Ali Abdullah Yusuh. These extracts will be applied in a classroom situation of literature.

The task of a professor of literature is to provide a text and get students to explore the text in order to establish an understanding of the text. To test students' understanding of the text, the teacher will make it more difficult for students to see beyond what is written. It is about asking questions which need to draw conclusions and how the text differs from conventional description.

The author tries to make extracts of Surah As-Saff Al-Mursalat and the message of the English-language translation of the Koran in the meaning of the Qur'an by Muhammad Asad and the Koran in English translation of the holy meaning of the Qur'an by Abdullah Yusuf Ali and the use of extracts from literary texts. Exercises for the understanding of literature are then developed to show how these extracts can be used in classroom literature.

Exercise 1

About twelve and thirteen of Surah As-Saff (A) MA are used for the first year.

If you do, He will forgive you your sins, and in the life to come to admit you into gardens through which flow the water running, and beautiful mansions in gardens of perpetual bliss: Who will be the ultimate triumph !

And with that, it gives you yet another thing you dearest: Help from God in this world, and a victory soon to come: and it, O Prophet, you're a good news to all those who believe.

Q1 Where do you find a description of this kind?

Q2 What do you think it is described?

Q3 What do you think you have to do to get what is described above?

Q4 Can you guess the meaning of the word "rescue" a plain reading of the two

paragraphs above?

Exercise 2

About two and three of Surah As - Saff (A) by Aya are used for the second year.

O ye who believe!

Why do you say

You do not?

Seriously Hate Is

In the sight of Allah

That tells you that

You do not.

Q1 Explain in your own words what it means to the question in lines 2 and 3.

Q2 Why do you think it is abhorrent to God that "you say you do not"?

Exercise 3

Around seven to thirteen of Surah Al - Mursalat (B) by MA are used for the third year.

That is all you are told to wait will surely pass.

Thus, it will happen when the stars are blotted out,

and when the sky is rent asunder,

and when the mountains are scattered like dust,

and when all the apostles were called together at a set time ...

To date is the end of it all summer?

Day To distinguish between true and false!

Q1 Have you been advised of the Day?

Q2 What you said to wait after death?

Q3 Could you guess the meaning of "cleared" and "separates" just

reading the verses above?

Q4 What is the relationship of these: the stars, sky, mountains and

apostles?
