Affordable Wooden Swing Sets

Affordable Wooden Swing SetsWood or plastic playsets outdoor?

I am buying an outdoor porch for my 2 year old son. I noticed that it is the playsets wooden and plastic such as Little Tikes. I have some questions and I appreciate the advice of other parents.
1. wooden playsets tend to be more expensive such as the Rainbow .. but there are affordable price series toysrus, target and Walmart. Any idea of quality?
2.When my children grow up playsets plastic?
3. wooden playsets are actually safe for children who are 2? I want to get him to show or a cabin, but is it safe for him?
Thank you for answering: D

I love wood games they have, they are much more durable and easier to maintain and play the items included as robust scale, tire swing, slide. If you want something great that's the only way. My two year old does fine on the sets of large wooden playground. Children grow up in plastic.

the playsets wooden Wil often too big for a 2 year old, get a plastic for now.

We just bought our daughter a metal Toys R Us We searched the woods, but they were much more expensive - also a friend of ours has a wooden one and if it is properly supported (sanded and stained ), it bursts after some time. My 2 year old daughter got a ton of flashes of his thighs while gliding over the top. I would say as long as your 2-year motor decent, he is sure of himself, but I personally recommend a plastic one or metal on wood - but that's just my personal preference.

I have a sister 2 years old and we got this metal / plastic swing and she loves it, but u get wood splinters and rotting and difficult to get rid of, I recommend plastic

Advantages and disadvantages of both types, but two or three things to consider:

1 - depending on where you live (weather for example) can better weather than the other. In hot, arid climates, the wood tends to dry and needs repainting / staining at least annually. Plastic, on the other hand, will deteriorate if exposed to direct sunlight, but lasts for years in the shadows.

2 - the wood is easier to repair. If you have a broken section, it is not so difficult to replace by a new piece that you own manufacture, and paint to match. Unable to do with plastic.

3 - lumber orders seems to have a better resale value when the children grow it

4 - most games have wood for add-ons that extend all the children grow up, plastic packages generally do not

5 - the plastic is much easier to clean. You can store just outside for the winter under a tarp or in the garden shed, then wash with soap and a hose in the spring.

I would say it depends on the amount of investment you want to do. Do you want something that will last two or three years? Then get one that is not expensive. We bought a Wal-Mart three years ago, then for my 3 year old daughter. That's great, is strong and all-wood. It must be assembled and it took my husband about 4-5 hours to get together. At this stage, the whole game looks a little distorted and I noticed flashes here and there. I say that it probably had another year to go.

Rainbow Those are great, but so very expensive. Good thing about these well, they will last for years and years and not afraid of splinters.

Your son will probably love it whichever you choose. But if you get one with scales or strong, he will need your close supervision. Good luck with what you want!

We have obtained a set of wooden toysrus for our then 5 years. We now also have 2 years and she loves it. It depends on the year two years. My daughter is great at climbing and has a good balance. Some of his friends do not do as well on the scales. We bought a baby swing with seat belts too. It can climb and slide. It depends on the characteristics of all gaming It will outgro.
